Hi and welcome to my blog! I’m Michelle Edwards, CPA, founder and owner of Trailhead Accounting Solutions CPA, LLC. I’m not your typical CPA working a 9-5 desk job. I’m a mompreneur raising a family and running a business. When I’m not taking my kids to and from school and to their various activities, I’m busy helping small to mid-sized businesses with their bookkeeping and Virtual CFO needs.
I have 10 years of experience managing the accounting department for a local real estate company and being their trusted business advisor. After working as their CFO for 6 years, I decided it was time to make a change. I saw first hand the lack of professional and affordable accounting solutions that are available to small businesses. I created Trailhead Accounting Solutions to fill this need. I have a passion for working with small businesses and entrepreneurs. Their passion, motivation, and dreams are incredibly inspiring. I enjoy providing a stress-free solution for entrepreneurs and being their trusted business advisor. My goal is to teach my clients a bit of accounting along the way.
Outside of being a CPA in Erie, CO, I enjoy hiking, camping, quilting, gardening, and most importantly spending time with my family.
